My white onions were the size you see in stores and larger. The yellow ones were much smaller. Eighty three might seem like a lot, however it didn't fill a 10 lb onion bag whereas the Spanish filled 3 large bags.

This might help too:
http://usagardener.com/how_to_grow_vegetables/how_to_grow_onions.phpScrappy quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08643346408388508283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4143889612119737515.post-75942924583134173072009-09-25T13:36:53.159-07:002009-09-25T13:36:53.159-07:00I'm not sure about the onions. Our weather was cool and we did have rain when we needed it. Our friends onions mostly rotted this year though. Otherwise I can't help you. One thing, I planted mostly Spanish onions. The few yellow onions I had didn't grow very large.

I think with gardening so much is iffy. We had no cucumbers this year. Last year we had tons. Others had nice cucumbers this year because we were given boxes of them.Scrappy quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08643346408388508283noreply@blogger.com
