Closed...Open

Once again I don't know the name of this indoor plant, but look at the flowers...

Flowers were closed about 2 weeks ago.

Flowers opened just a day ago....

Is that not a Hoya plant. Mine looked exactly like it. Does it have a fragrance when they are opened. Hugs

Did you get that one from mom? That one came from NF years ago! I think she called it the bridal bouquet? (informal name of course). I love that plant.

Oh you are so right Scrappy quilter...it is a Hoya plant and it likes to be neglected...fine with me. Thanks for the information.

Yes, Yillie, mom gave that to me quite some time ago. I just read the link Scrappy Quilter gave me and it needs more sun than it currently gets so I'll have to move it. I didn't know that was from Newfoundland...quite the story.

It is very pretty. I am glad you found out what it was.

You are right...it likes to be neglected, it likes to be in a small pot and it doesn't like transplanting!! It's a beautiful plant and once it starts blooming it'll bloom for years. I love hoya plants. Hugs
