After several years of nagging, hinting, pleading my husband started work on a new project.
The beginnings of something wonderful with logs he found washed up at the lake.

And here it is pretty much finished, now I take over. I'll be looking for inexpensive wisteria, trumpet vine or clematis to climb this new and beautiful arbour.
I am happy, happy, happy...

You should be happy!! The arbour is absolutely wonderful. I love it and am a tad bit jealous. OK, a lot jealous. Enjoy!!!
Now how did Art find time to do that? It's wonderful. He's a handy guy to have around at work and home for sure. - Margy
Oh that is a lovely arbour, from logs floating on the lake , wow. You scored on those big time. I can visualize how that's all going to look with your vines and your pond/waterfall next to that huge rock.
I can see why you are happy. You'll be sitting out there w/ a glass of ice tea and a good book in no time : )
